Edgerrin Weaver and Miles

10/31/24 DEBUT ALBUM RELEASE!!

Miles and Edge, together afloat in their ability to ignore the confines of time.  They'd free fall while building their collaborative music in the dream of making this album! Through gobsmacks of weed and dedication they stuck at it. Now through Edge’s talents and heartbreaking love and diligence, it has been produced and released to the wilds. We know Miles is sitting and listening proud.

Angel, painting by Oscar Mottershead 2022

Angel

Oscar Mottershead

From a young age, Miles and Oscar have been brothers in dirt, spirit, jackassery, travel, nature exploration, art and love. Together they navigated their youth at Cherry Valley, high school at Artquest, Covid lock down living in LA, WOOFING in Equador and travels to Croatia and all the tender tendrils of adventure between.

Angel is a painting by Oscar, inspired by a vision he had of Miles. Angel makes its home in Miles’ room at home, bringing solace to a place which hosted many sleepovers, conversations and musings on the mysteries of the world.

Miles is the Western Sun

He stirs up color and light

And feeds them to the world

On a giant palette knife of sky

He dances like a duende

Spinning his gifts in a luminous

Web of ancient and modern

Matrimony.

Timelessly, he hangs out with beggars,

Scholars, pimps, teachers, tattoo artists,

Babies, teenage dogs, actors, snake handlers

Dancers, rockers, rappers, blind, driftless

Roadschool poets, monks, plumbers, bakers

Grifters, philosophers, truants and Queens.

You could say he has a plan...

A flawless plan, a planless plan

One that sees the great big mess we're all in

The stew of humanity rife with enmity

Swirling and delusional.

And says, let's tear this down.

And be in the colors, the light.

The world of a great giant sky.

Like you, Miles

Palette knife in hand.

Much love forever and always,
